William Wyndham

William Wyndham is a visual artist based in West Wales.

​

During his lifelong commitment to oil painting, from his art scholarship, his studies at Leith School of Art and Edinburgh College of Art to his ongoing tutelage under the great Maggie Hambling CBE, William has accrued a very broad range of skills and ideas around the subject. He has thus developed a unique philosophy around painting, and strongly believes that anyone can do it, given the right encouragement. He has worked for a decade professionally, producing acclaimed album covers for the music industry, exhibiting in galleries and working as a portrait painter. He is very excited to share some of what he has learned along this journey, and to encourage others in their own unique approaches.During his career he has worked  in animation, film, costume and set design, though for him, the source of inspiration for all this work is ultimately drawing and painting.
